Hi,

Great read. The book pretty much takes up after an EMP takes out the US, It really hits the reliance we have on electricity and makes you think about a lot of stuff that will no longer be there if electricity goes away.

Cheers

READ THIS BOOK!

Very very good story with a very plausable plot.

If you get a chance read it! Thanks again for the heads up on this one 612!

I may have posted this info elsewhere but since this is a dedicated site to book reviews I'll put it here too.

The sequel to One Second After by William R. Forstchen, ONE YEAR AFTER, will be released on 15 Sept. Should be interesting. First book was very good & with 6 years of follow up research into collapse situations the second should be good too. If the US is hit with a EMP attack there is no reason Aust. would not be also to create a level playing field so to speak, deprive the US of rapid aid, spare parts etc. or allies. Very cheap means of warfare. One bomb high up & it is a numbers game not a tech match. China & Indonesia would love it.
