Are Flying foxes safe to eat? I know they used to be but now with Hendra and Lyssa virus??????
I ask because the mongrels have even had a go at my green lemons ---didn't like them.

Also ebola is said to be something they can carry too  (thou its not supposed to be here, who knows what is out there in our wild animal populations like that)

Pigs eat nutgrass bulbs and I eat the pigs! :P

Loose ends make my arse itch and I have just clipped my finger nails. So the itch flows to my trigger finger.

Do you currently have any pigs?  If so how long do you keep them before they become Ham or blutwurst sausage?  We used to grow them for a year then they become our food  ;)

The last one we had we fed for 3 months and killed it at approx 50kgs dressed.
Very young, but they grow super fast.
We feed it a little grain and mainly kitchen scraps, vege excesses etc etc.
Bones were that soft you could chew them easily!
Wife and I caught it on the roadside on the way home from the shops! ;D
Cheapest pig I ever had and tasted greatttttttttttttttttt mateeeeeeeeeeeeee! :P ;D ;D
