Electro Manetic Pulse
« on: December 17, 2017, 08:00:25 am »

So, some are concerned we could lose all electronic communications and elecrtrical capability if Earth had a pole shift, a large meteor strike, sun burst or more likely nuke detonation. Fair enough - I can live without electricity -OR CAN I?
The human heart and brain operate on electricity. How much of an EMP would be necessary to melt down a brain's wiring?????

I think the rest of your body would be toast if it was that high to stop
your internal chemical electro reactions!
Most are based on sodium and postassium ion exchanges in your body.
Look up action potential in a nursing/medical textbook or google it.
Muscle movement relies on calcium in much the same way. Well they are all inter connected
mate.

Shock waves are more heart stoppers Gren!
High enough effect will cause organ damage, break bones, rupture ear drums etc etc.

Sophia Loren is my favourite heart stopper.
I got hit by a shock wave once, when I chucked a lit match into brown's gas bubble. Nearly blew the roof off my shed. Just a pea sized bubble. Magic stuff.

One of my mates and his brother fed lpg under their dad's concrete slab of his car shed
in the 70's when we had a really bad mouse and rat plague.
Then the turds lit it up with a molitoff cocktail from a distance.
The whole shed lifted 6 inches off the ground and shattered the slab into 1000's of pieces.
It did kill the mice, but they got a liberal dose of the stock prod for their efforts! :o ;D ;D ;D

Oh, wow, Doomie, that is such a beautiful story. They use LPG around here to poison the bunnies and some people like to blow up rabbit warrens.
