I have purchased 3 of these as they are cheap and the postage is minimal.
If anyone else is interested.

Unsure how long they will be available.

$48.00 and have a lot of features.
I am curious how long they will will run a few led stripe lights for as well.

The trick with these is that they keep the voltage up enough for the solenoid to kick in properly and to boost the existing car batterys amps enough to crank for just a few seconds, warm 4 cylinder petrol motor easy, 4 cylinder diesel warm or cold one would have bucklies!

Two in parallel would go a lot better
That Ah rating is total bull
and that sucker will get real hot real quick with several hundred amps running through it, handle with care after use!

I bought a Jumpspower unit - the biggest one they make. $185 off ebay. Can charge from mains, ciggy lighter or solar panel. Has torch and usb ports.

They claim it will jump start a 7 litre diesel engine and I believe them. Biggest I have is a 4 cylinder 4.5 litre old school (no turbo) diesel in a Ford 6600 tractor and it will spin that sucker over every bit as fast as its fully charged standard battery. Also claim one charge on it will start an engine "up to" 10 times - I believe that too as after strting my tractor and putting it on the charger it is still fully charged.

At $185 it is the price of a regular battery so it damn well should!

I have one of those smaller units and it was ok for charging stuff and it would start a warm 4 cylinder petrol motor but the old diesel massey fergerson on a cold morning not a chance but once warmed up yes it would just!

I put my money in to a better battery now!

New (decent) battery for my Ford was over $300. Beauty of this little gadget is size and weight. Started my tractor from stone cold in minus 7 ambient, cant give it a better/harder test than that! Dunno how something so small can put so much punch through such thin leads but it does.

Jumpspower make 3 units - I bought the biggest, the AMG15,  in case I ever need it to start my V8 Landrcruiser. It started the tractor so the Cruiser will be a walk in the park. It also started an LS3 Chev V8 which I believe are 6.2 litres like there was no tomorrow.

Just read the spec sheet - will start up to 12 cylinder petrol/diesel , 7 litres or less. Jump start current is 350 to 700 amps. Battery capacity is 15,000mAh (whatever that means). Weight is 595 grams.

If it jumps starts the tractors here great.
But really I mainly bought them for the storage as the price is good and it is considerably larger than most of the newer jump packs I have seen.
I will test them all and if they work I will keep one in each car and might get a couple more.

Make sure you top them up every 3 months or so. No good needing it badly only to find out is has been so long since it was charged up that it hasn't enough juice to do what you want.

Ok update.
The $40 packs worked like a treat and will start 6 cylinder tractors etc.
Were well worth the money.
Have usb ports as well as a light.
