Anyone got thoughts on the new myHealth system?

I've opted out and would suggest others do so as well. You have 3 months to do so or you will be on it forever. Maybe it makes sense for people who are crook and/or move around a lot, but I don't want, for example, weapons licensing having access to my "health" records.

Doctor: So how are we today?
Gun owner: Pretty good, been a bit down lately though.
Record: Patient suffers from depression.

Good luck getting your license renewed next time it's due.

Well, cut off me legs and call me shorty, who woulda thought that people don't trust the Gov with their personal details in a massive database. It seems that the massive numbers of opt outs crashed the system :)

Also I intend to phone and ensure it went through, I don't trust that it did.

The gummint has had all our/your info for yonks. Uless you fly so low under the radar that you have no wireless pones, internet, get your drugs and meds from the candy man, use no bought fuel, have no credit or debit cards, no licences or reg'd bang sticks etc. I'd rather not be on any bloody database but wtf, what damage is another one going to do. Shit, might even help to prolong some poor bastards miserable existence. I gotta get my tongue unstuck from my cheek.

I bought 10 meters of coarse mulch today. Not sure when I'll start spreading it around my trees & how long it will take me. I usually get free grass by raking vacant acreage around here that has been mowed but my arthritis makes me too sore to keep doing that & grass breaks down fairly fast & keeps needing topping up.

Should get about 8 barrow loads to a meter & a barrow should do 1 to 3 trees depending on how the previous mulch, sawdust or grass or much earlier mulch I got for free when local road widening was carried out, has held up. Roughly 300 trees need mulching, the 100 + bananas are ok as I grass mulched them recently, as it is starting to dry out here as it does every Winter. At least we have had fair rain so far this year not like the dry conditions the last 4 years not counting the 3 floods when we had half the annual rain in a couple of weeks.

Tied up with family on Sat. so might do some tomorrow but do not want to be sore & grumpy ( crippled ) for family so looks like Sunday for starters.

Hi all, thought I'd show up again in a somewhat shamefaced way.  Been struggling day to day with all sorts of things and forgot to catch up on important things like my virtual mates.

All good, just running trying to get through everything.  Remember when I had a fun job where I could play on the net all the time?  Oh well, suppose that may come again one day.

Anyway, how have you liked the cold winter and what do you all predict for the coming summer?  Dry after this do you think?

Back to reviewing everything I missed.  seeya

Hi CCL. We have to do what we have to do and that's what you've been doing. Winter has been just a cold extension of the long dry where I am at.

I spread 30 wheelbarrow loads of mulch around 30 fruit trees yesterday arvo. It is not going as far as I hoped & I think I might have got a bit of a  light load to compensate for no delivery fee. Should be enough left to do another 30 trees. It will work out at $5 a tree but it will last a fair while & save a lot of weeding & watering. Probably do the other half on Sunday as visiting family on Sunny Coast today.

Mulched 60 trees with last load of mulch & got another 10 meters today. If you do not feed your trees they will not feed you.

Been working on the spit roaster. Bought a new motor and gearbox for it and
retrofitted it. Big enough to cook annoying gov peoples or medium pigs or a few turkeys etc.
Gov peops = turkeys on the cook times apparently!
Lack of plum trees from local nursery has me pissed off.
Sold all of Jack Russell pups and another batch on the way.
Getting very dry and a lot of young calves is getting me a tad worried again.

Spent a couple of days at the BOL building a trellis for my young table grapes. Also planted garlic, irrigated veg plot for a few hours, stick picking and rock pitching an other painful stuff. Walked the back 200 to check access to hidey hole still available.

Im definately opting out of this as I currently got some wrong info on my medical info which I havent had the health/energy to try to get corrected and I dont want that wrong info to be everywhere.  I have wrong info from my family history on it to other stuff.  This how how crazily wrong mental files can get.. I told a dr of my family of both sides of my family having heart problems and dying of heart attacks.. and he puts on the file that they all have mental health problems (he must of clicked something wrong by mistake).  And the fact I have lots of cancer in the family got missed.

My sister has already opted out of it due to what she sees as misleading medical records for her children. They all had bad reactions to their vaccines and the doctors refused to record the bad reactions down.
