Even with all the good gear, the good old DIY shed takes longer to erect than you'd think.

And if you buy expensive tarps you'll never need them. Murphy's law.

We have the gear ready to do the other side of the sons shed this winter.
But we aren't going to do it in the heat.
Mums a/c died again after the attack of the killer green tree frogs.
Two weeks minimum to get repaired/replaced!
So getting a larger in room vented unit to get her through the last of summer.
Made a couple of screens of pellets yesterday before retiring due to the heat.
Been picking macadamia nuts before they drop from the trees.
Wife goes crazy making biscuits with crushed mac nuts in them. I keep telling her
I will get fat. :(

You can mix them macadamia's which we all know are really called Queensland Nuts, in with soft vanilla icecream then refreeze. Good tucker. If you're good enough you can press them for oil. It's worth a million quid. They are real good raw, real good for busting thumbs underr hammers and make great ging ammo.

Bugger the ging ammo I would rather eat them mate.
A bag of qld nuts was a real treat when I was a kid and I had my special holes in the concrete
to crack em with a hammer. Now I have a 240 volt cracker and the kids use my vise.
Waiting to see if we get a storm as the heat and humidity is like cairns atm and was so all day :(

No rain again. Cool wind off the storm though.
Off to Bundy Rob if you are going to town ring me!
Heat is even cooking the new avacado trees, got em covered and may have saved one.

I don't buy females, Mate. They congregate around me. Tractors are funny buggers. Both Nuffields, the smaller engine growls and the bigger ----purrs like a pussy.
