  • The value of an idea lies in the using of it.

Lee Enfield 303 chargers a.k.a. Stripper clips:  You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
In the first 2 minutes of this video you see the guy loading his 303 rifle using chargers.
This was one of the things that gave the Lee Enfield 303 a good rate of fire and made it such a good battle rifle.

Does anyone know of modern rifles or magazines that can use a similar feature?

I once saw an attachment for an M16 magazine that allowed the use of stripper clips and the 5.56mm ammo came in 20 round stripper clips.  Obviously none of this is legal in NSW unless you are n the Army.

Please watch the first 2 minutes of the video before replying.

SKS use same stripper clip idea. They hold 5 rounds each, so 2 clips for a full inbuilt mag.

Most military bolt actions will ie Mosin, 6.5 Swede etc.

Modern rifles its just as easy to have a couple of extra mags loaded. More common hunting rifles (Tikka, Remington, Howa have conversion kits.
